Empire State Building General Admission: Main Deck

Make like King Kong and ascend an iconic tower – it's the best way to see NYC

Why you should buy your ticket on Viaggia Piccoli.

Highlights

Finding yourself looking up at the skyscrapers of New York is already a unique experience, but it is nothing compared to the view of the Big Apple from the top of its most famous skyscraper. With various ongoing exhibits on the second and 80th floors, and with two viewing platforms, the Empire State Building truly can't be beat in terms of views of the Empire State.

The Empire State Building was completed in 1931 and this Art Deco icon still retains its charm. The smiling team of staff in burgundy uniforms at the entrance will escort you to this city classic. Admire the striking murals that adorn the walls and ceiling.

The most iconic point of this skyscraper is the 86th floor, where many films, such as "Independence Day" and "Sleepless in Seattle", have filmed memorable scenes.

The view from the top is breathtaking, figuratively (and sometimes even literally!). With Empire State Building tickets, you'll get panoramic views of six states from the outdoor promenade and air-conditioned galleries that surround it.

Take your time to take aerial photos of Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and One World Trade Center, and at least one of you pounding your chest like King Kong did when he scaled the building.

Empire State Extras

To have a digital guided tour from the ground floor to the top, the Official Empire State Building Guide app is a must. Download it for free from the App Store and Google Play.

Are you hungry up high? The Empire State Building boasts seven restaurants. Opt for a pre-arranged dinner package at State Grill and Bar, which also serves local craft beers and cocktails. Starbucks Reserve® and Chipotle are also nearby.

For the best experience, we recommend visiting the Empire State Building Observatory two hours after opening hours.
