What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is now a live entertainment phenomenon dedicated to honoring country music's rich history and dynamic present.

Uniting country legends and contemporary chart-topping artists who have followed in their footsteps, the Opry is Tennessee's number one attraction and offers a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience for audiences of all ages.

Unlike a typical concert, the Opry features eight or more artists at each show, giving audiences a sampling of each artist's musical style.

Position
The show is held in two locations throughout the year - see below. Please note that these dates/months are not fixed and are subject to change. We recommend checking local listings when in Nashville to ensure you are visiting the correct location.

February through October: For most of the year, the show is held at the Grand Ole Opry House, a 20-minute drive from downtown Nashville. Address: 2804 Opryland Drive, Nahville, TN 37214.
November to January: During these months, the Opry is usually performed at its former home, the historic Ryman Auditorium. Address: 116 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219.

Two ticket levels are available:

For shows at the Grand Ole Opry House:

Rhinestone seating: balcony
Gold Seating: Side Main Deck or Side Mezzanine
Preferred level seating: central main floor or mezzanine
For shows at the Ryman Auditorium:
Preferred Seating: The Ryman Auditorium has a different seating division depending on the show, but the typical Opry/Opry Country Classics setup includes preferred seating starting from the N row of the main floor to the back of the floor principal.
Gold Seating: There would also be Gold seating in the back balcony.
Rhinestone Seating: Often in the back corners of the main floor with limited views.

The Opry is open at 7pm every Friday and Saturday throughout the year, on Tuesdays from February 16th to December 13th and on Wednesdays from June 15th to August 10th. From October 1st to December 10th, the Opry runs every Saturday with the LATE show at 9:30am.

- Please note that photo ID is required to enter.
- During November, December and January, the Opry show is normally presented at the Ryman Auditorium during these months. During the rest of the year the show is presented by the Opry House.
