  • The itinerary and stops may be subject to change due to weather and road conditions.
  • Meals are not included
  • Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and over will be charged a $100 per person park entrance fee after completing their reservation . This fee will be collected via a payment link or on the bus at the start of the tour. "America the Beautiful Non-Resident Pass" holders are exempt, as the $250 pass covers up to four people at the entrance.
  • U.S. residents must present a valid photo ID to prove residency.
  • The tour price already includes the entrance fee to Yosemite National Park (a $10 value).

What you need to know before you go

  • Hotel pickup must be scheduled at least 5 days in advance
  • Guests must reconfirm the tour by checking in online no later than 72 hours before
  • The collection location will be agreed upon in one of the 5 collection "zones" (see voucher details)
  • Departure time is scheduled for approximately 5:20 AM.
  • All children under 8 years old or 145 cm tall or less must use a child seat or booster seat.
  • Dress comfortably.

Detailed itinerary
The tour departs from San Francisco, with pickup from your downtown hotel , Union Square, or Fisherman's Wharf. You'll travel through the fertile San Joaquin Valley, then ascend into the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. Relax in comfort as you listen to tales of California's vibrant Gold Rush history.

Upon arrival in Yosemite , you'll continue toward Yosemite Valley and stop at Inspiration Point , made famous by the works of Ansel Adams and numerous artists. It'll be the perfect time to take photos with Sentinel Dome , Glacier Point , Cathedral Peak , and Bridalveil Falls as your backdrop .

You'll have plenty of time to picnic or visit the Ansel Adams Gallery and the Yosemite Valley Wilderness Center . The valley is also home to giant, ancient trees and over 400 species of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. The Lower Yosemite Falls, Mist Trail, and Meadow Loop trails are suitable for hikers of all ages, while the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias and the Meadow Loop Trail to the Swinging Bridge offer walks with spectacular views (subject to weather and trail conditions).

The day concludes with a stop at Valley View , where you can admire the Merced River and the extraordinary natural scenery framed by El Capitan and the spires of Cathedral Rocks , before bidding farewell to the magnificence of Yosemite. Giant Sequoia Hike - Yosemite National Park
Enjoy an unforgettable hike among Yosemite's majestic giant sequoias! This route is only available when trail conditions are safe, generally from April to October. The itinerary includes a 2-mile round-trip hike on a paved trail, with a steep incline on the return. Those with respiratory problems or unaccustomed to strenuous exercise can stay in the seating area at the Tuolumne Grove stop.

Best time to visit Yosemite Valley
Each season offers unique experiences:

Clothing and equipment

A stop is planned in Yosemite Valley for independent exploration or lunch; you may also bring a packed lunch. During your free time, the best way to get around is on foot. Using public transportation or park shuttles is not recommended, as a timely return to the bus cannot be guaranteed.
